I think everyone knows that hair straighteners cause split ends etc. in the long run, so this is a technique that a lot of hair salons use to straighten hair without the use of a straightener :) It still causes some damage, but less at least.

What you’re gonna need: shampoo & deep conditioner, heat protectant spray/serum, round brush, blowdryer
1. Shampoo & condition hair, then wash out with cold water and wrap up in towel, or towel dry if short
2. Apply heat protectant serum evely throughout hair, or perhaps more at the ends
3. Blow dry hair gently to ensure no hair is dripping still, then separate hair into manageable sections which you can straighten (about 2-3 cm in width)
4. Take one of the sections and place the comb under it, starting at the top near your head. At the same time point the nozel of the blow-dryer downwards, but over the top of the section. Pull the hair away from your head by rolling the comb dowwards, and at the same time moving the blow-dryer in the same direction.
5. Repeat for other sections of hair
Remember: keep the tension even & consistent throughout, and always point the nozzle downwards as blowing upwards causes frizzy strands.
Bye! :)
